Total Packout Solutions follows a documentation-first packout process built around insurance carrier expectations and reconstruction timelines.
Every project moves through clear phases: initial walkthrough, scope and pricing, photo-documented inventory, secure packing, climate-controlled storage, contents cleaning where needed, and scheduled pack-back at project completion.
Each phase is coordinated with the homeowner or property manager, the adjuster, the mitigation team, and the general contractor so the contents side of the claim never falls behind reconstruction.
The packout itself typically takes one day for most homes. The full process — packout through storage and contents return — depends on your restoration timeline. That could be 3 weeks to 6 months. We store your belongings for as long as needed.
It's helpful to be present for the initial walkthrough so you can flag high-priority items, but you don't need to stay for the entire job. Your Project Manager handles everything and keeps you updated throughout.
We follow the scope set by your insurance adjuster. In most cases, we pack out the entire affected area plus adjacent rooms at risk of secondary damage. If you have specific requests, your Project Manager coordinates those with the adjuster.
No problem. Your contents stay in our climate-controlled storage for as long as needed — no arbitrary deadlines. We coordinate with your contractor and adjuster so contents return happens when your home is actually ready.
Yes. If you need specific items during the restoration period, contact your Project Manager and we'll arrange access. Everything is organized and labeled so retrieval is straightforward.
In situations where a full relocation is required rather than a packout, we coordinate with our moving division — Stonebriar Moving Services — to ensure contents are transported safely and efficiently across DFW.
